The three floors

1st floor

57 m

A glass floor with dizzying views straight down, a small museum, and a café. Good for families and anyone not keen on the very top.

2nd floor

115 m

Widely considered the best view of Paris — high enough to see the whole city, low enough to pick out landmarks. The Michelin-starred Jules Verne restaurant is on this level.

Summit

276 m

Reached by a second lift from the 2nd floor. Champagne bar, panoramic viewpoints, and a small recreation of Gustave Eiffel's office.

Insider tips

  • Book online at least a week ahead — same-day slots often sell out.
  • The quietest slots are the first lift of the day or after 21:00.
  • Take the stairs to the 2nd floor: cheaper, faster, and much less queuing.
  • Wait for the tower to sparkle: five minutes every hour after dark, until 01:00.

Getting there

The tower is easy to reach by Métro, RER, bus, or on foot from central Paris.
